POLICIES AND WARRANTY
ICM Policy Statement
Our goal is to make your shopping experience as easy as possible. We believe every sale should be as personal as possible, so each transaction is handled by a person, not a computer. We hope your experience at ICM is enjoyable and encourage your feedback on our policies and procedures.
Refunds
If you purchase any item from us and decide to return it, with it still being in new condition, you have 9 days to return it and there will be a 9% restocking fee. They item must be in it's original factory packaging. Authorized returns must be shipped pre-paid.
Warranty Limitations
Using Machinery incorrectly and with improper care can lead to the warranty being terminated.
Construction machinery: warranty is limited to two months from date of purchase.
You still need a site mechanic to maintain and do minor repairs time to time on these machines. You may bring them to us as well with your expenses or we shall send you the part you need. It is quite common for rammers and similar machines to have problems time to time.
Welding machines: warranty period is 2 months, condition to the following.
You must be careful not to use grinding machine next to inverter or electronic machines. Metal powder is conductive and causes damage that is not included in the warranty. The cycle duty on these machines are normally 60% meaning in every 10 minutes of usage the machine must be idle for 4 minutes.
Pumps: If we do not agree on pump size, or you have made the purchase on your own terms, the pump warranty is terminated.
Claims for Shortage:
All claims for shortages or damaged merchandise must be made within 10 working days of receipt of merchandise.
Limited Liability
Acceptance of any order is conditioned on customer's acceptance of the following terms for limitation of liability. ICM shall not be liable whether in contract, in tort, under any warranty, in negligence or otherwise, for consequential, special or incidental damages. Under no circumstances shall our liability exceed the amount of the purchase price. The customer's limited right to replacement is the customer's sole and exclusive remedy.
General Conditions
Prices are subject to change without notice and cannot be guaranteed. Orders will be billed at prices in effect at the time order is received. The shipment of orders is subject to approval by our credit department. Possession of our price book is not to be construed as an offer to sell.
Ordering
When ordering, please be sure to include the manufacturers part number and quantity needed. This will ensure prompt order processing and faster service.
Shipping
All orders placed are shipped within two days. Orders are shipped road Courier service or insured mail parcels (small items only).
Payment Information
We accept only money transferred or cash deposit. No cheque deposit is accepted in any circumstances. It may take 24 hours before transferred money arrives into our bank account if the transferring bank be other than ABSA.
Returns
Returns will not be accepted without a RA number, which will be provided after reasonable cause.. Merchandise must be in original factory package and be in new, resalable condition. Special ordered items cannot be returned without factory approval, and the factory restocking policy will apply. Returns will not be accepted for improper handling, misuse of the item, or for merchandise not purchased from ICM. Return of non-defective merchandise will be assessed a 20% restocking fee.
Special Orders
All special order merchandise must be paid in full prior to order being processed.
